Cavitation uses an ultrasound wave to disrupt the membrane of the fat cell. The ultrasound wave creates a vibration within the fat layer, the cells become fragile with this vibration and will start to break down. The broken down cells are then passed through the liver and kidney and excreted through the urine, completely disposing of the fat cell. You will not notice any visible changes in urine.

The Famous Fat Freeze
The fat pocket is frozen down to -5C, when the cells are exposed to this temperature, they will crystalize and start to break down. The fat freeze works by breaking down the cells over the course of 6 months, gradually reducing the thickness of the fat layer. The cells will pass out naturally and are disposed of through urine.

HIFU is an ultrasound wave focused below the skins surface to cause precise, targeted heating. When fat cells are exposed to this heat, they break down through Coagulative Necrosis. The heat also causes the breakdown and production of new collagen cells, reducing the appearance of cellulite, breaking down fat cells and tightening the skin that is gradually noticed over the recovery period.

RF is used to create a flow of electrons to produce heat, the heat causes trauma to the fat cells and leads to "fat melting" resulting in a smoother appearance of the treated area. The RF treatment works by gradually heating the deepest skin layers and creating thermal trauma to the cells (the treatment feels pleasantly warm.) The collagen and elastin fibres within the skin then contract, stimulating fibroblast action (fibroblasts are the connective tissue cells that produce collagen and elastin.) This leads to the production of new fibres which causes visible firming, plumping and tightening of the skin.

What to expect
Chemical peels have a slight warmth and tingly feeling. The peel is buffed onto the skin with cotton pads and taken off with cold water. The skin may feel shiny or tight after the treatment. Redness, light flaking and dryness are all normal and expected side effects.
